Renana is a religious Jewish artist who expresses in her works the conflicts and tension in being a woman, an artist and an Israeli Jew in the 21th century. Her works reference to the tradition and history of western art culture, especially that of figurative oil paintings and to the sacred.

The subject dealt in her paintings show the postmodern family, redefined by feminism and by culture and religious changes. They show the orthodox Jewish world fighting for its relevance while questioning the very basic values of its tradition.

Renana is a member in Armadil and  Studio of Her Own- groups of orthodox artists.
